Welcoming Men Back to Yoga
Creating an inclusive experience for all.
"I didn't get it before; I do now." Denise D, Personal Trainer, E-RYT® 200
"So simple to be kind and welcome everyone." Ash, Group Fitness, E-RYT® 500

Historically, yoga was often taught by men to men, yet the modern yoga classroom frequently tells a different story. While many men are curious about yoga, some may hesitate to attend — and others may not return after their first experience.
This workshop explores how teachers can create a more welcoming, accessible, and successful experience for everyone.
Together we’ll look at:
-
how cueing and demonstration shape participant experience
-
how anatomy, proportions, mobility, and body structure may influence poses
-
simple ways to offer options without isolating participants
-
creating a supportive, inclusive space through awareness, language, and sequencing
The goal is not to change yoga, but to better recognize who is in the room and teach in ways that support real bodies and real experiences.
Returning on the fall 2026/spring 2027 schedule.
