Like its traditional form, the modern Sun Salutation (Sūrya Namaskāra) — and its many variations — brings a sense of connection to both body and spirit. They're a warming way to meet the day through breath, flexibility and agility. In contrast, the Moon Salutation (Candra Namaskāra) emphasizes strength, stretching and reflection, guiding us towards calm and closure.

Their origins are debated, intentions diverse - even the number of repetitions is open to interpretation, or preference. Explore these sequences and their energy. Learn how to adapt them to suit your approach while maintaining an inclusive, accessible practice.

This in-person workshop offers Yoga Alliance and/or BCRPA continuing education credits.

Fee includes training material and ongoing connection. 

Requirement:  Yoga Fitness Module (BCRPA) and/or RYT® 200 (Yoga Alliance) or equivalent training/ teaching experience.
